Before exporting, double-check that your timezone is set to UTC.
Once this is confirmed, generate the CSV file directly from the Safelog website by following the steps below:
1. Open https://www.safelogweb.com and sign in using your Safelog login details.
2. Select the Other Tools tab, as illustrated below.
3. In the list of available tools, scroll down until you locate Data Import & Export, then click it.
4. Look for the option labeled Click here to create an export of your key logbook data, such as for the purposes of creating a local backup" and select it.
5. You’ll now be able to configure the export options for the CSV file. These settings are crucial to ensure the file can be read correctly. Make sure that the Text Qualifier field contains a value. If it’s left empty, the exported file may become corrupted, especially when commas are used in fields like Remarks. An example of typical settings is shown below.
6. Click Export wait while the CSV file is generated. A message similar to the one shown below will appear once the process is finished.
7. Select the button to download the CSV file to your computer or mobile device.
