Unique Report Features
LogTen offers a variety of logbook report formats from around the world. There are many differences between these. LogTen uses standard terms which apply globally. However, some terms for the same information vary from place to place. Some country reports track unique values as well.
P2X
P2X time is a time logged only for the Hong Kong CAA logbook. To log P2X time correctly for the Hong Kong CAA logbook:
Enter the flight’s Total Time and SIC/P2 time as usual.
Open the Duty section for that entry and enable the P2X control (checkbox/slider). Please see this article to configure these fields.
Ensure your Custom Duty 1 field is named “P2X” so it’s clearly tracked and reported as P2X, not standard P2.
Commander (Time and Crew)
Commander time columns in military logbooks are populated from "Custom Time 8" (this article explains how to make that field visible).
If you are using a civilian logbook format and have a Commander name column, this will be filled by LogTen's PIC Crew field.
If you are using a military logbook format, the Commander name column will be filled by LogTen's Commander crew field.
Special Crew
Special Crew time columns in military logbooks are populated from "Custom Time 9". Please see this article to make Custom Time 9 visible.
Kind of Flight Code
Kind of Flight Code used in the US Navy logbook is populated from "Custom Note 1". Please see this article to make Custom Note 1 visible.
ICUS
I.C.U.S is logged in Australia, and is populated from LogTen's P1u/s time field. Australian reports typically split the ICUS time by Day/Night and by Single/Multi time. This is tracked automatically by LogTen so that you don't have to worry about it! LogTen will automatically calculate ICUS Night based on the Night time of the flights, and automatically categorize it as Single/Multi based on the Aircraft Type associated with the flight. It's paramount that your Types are correctly defined as Single, Multi, etc, so that these can be accurate logged automatically. Please see our Types article to know more.
Tipo
In the Brazilian logbook, Tipo is populated by Custom Time 1. If needed, please see this article to make Custom Time 1 visible.
Command Practice
In the New Zealand logbook, Command Practice is populated from LogTen's P1u/s time field.
