The Brazil Limits are different depending on the type of flight operation. For this article, we will use Law 13.475 (Lei do Aeronauta) and RBAC 117 (Gerenciamento do Risco da Fadiga Humana) limits. If you need different criteria, please download the group, and then you can easily edit it according to the time limit you need.

Max Calendar Day Flight Time Limit Groups

Maximum of 8 Flight Hours per Day – Minimum or Simple Crew

Maximum of 11 Flight Hours per Day – “Composite” Crew (Augmented)

Maximum of 14 Flight Hours per Day – “Rotation” Crew (Relief)

Maximum of 7 Flight Hours per Day – Helicopter Crew

Maximum of 100h in Calendar Month – Reciprocating Airplane

Maximum of 85h in Calendar Month – Turbo-Prop Airplane

Maximum of 80h in Calendar Month – Jet Airplane

Maximum of 90h in Calendar Month – Helicopter

Maximum of 960h in Calendar Year – Reciprocating Airplane
